As soon as I picked her up out of the crate she snuggled her nose up under my neck. It was soo sweet. It was raining, so we didn't want to do the Ruby-Nala-meet-and-greet outside. Instead, we tried to be quiet and did it in the hallway of our building at 4am! Ruby is a little overwhelmed, but she is doing better than I thought she would right away. Nala has been very gentle with her so far!
We tried to go to be around 5am... put her back in her crate, and quickly learned that she has the lungs of a race horse and has the unique ability to mimic a fire alarm! There was about half an hour of quiet, the rest of screaming till 8 in the morning! Wow! She's still a little stressed, tummy is just a little upset from the long day yesterday, but she seems like a happy pup, constantly following us just behind our heels! So cute!
Wow! Long night! Congratulations!!! (Is she already wayyyy bigger than Ruby?!?!) Can't wait to meet her!
ReplyDeleteShe's about the same size right now... although her nose and paws are so much bigger! And Ruby actually was playing with her this afternoon!!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute picture of her! Glad the fan and bathroom idea worked well for her!
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are very sweet- Nala and I got caught in the same snow storm/airport delays. I was in Iowa to see Charlotte, my niece. Hope all goes well this week, and Have a Merry Christmas!
