Getting stuff done...

So, we left to run some errands and figured the early morning fog would wear off soon. Nope! To give you an idea of how bad it was, we were told there was a new Super Target and wanted to go. We couldn't see it! We finally barely saw the sign on the road, turned, and then couldn't find the building! Has it ever been hard to find a Super Target!

But, the most exciting thing of the day was our big purchase, at least the big purchase that we got to take home with us! The new member of our family, Dyson!

The previous owner of our condo had a cat! A long haired cat! After spending a couple days on the floor with Ruby (the lack of furniture has led to us rolling on the floor a lot) we realized that there is a ton of cat hair still in the carpet, especially buried in the corners! I have been sneezing like crazy! So, we bought the Dyson DC17 Asthma and Allergy edition! Oohhh, aahhh... I wasn't sure if it would be everything they said it would be, we have had some bad luck with vacuums in the past. Here is some proof! After vacuuming only the bedroom, this is what Dyson sucked up:

It was full, after one room! Now there is much less cat hair and I can breathe easier... that cat hair seems to find a way to stick around though. We'll vacuum for a couple more days and hopefully it will all be gone!

We also took a trip to Pottery Barn with our 10% off new movers coupon! We are very excited for our new furniture, however, it will be a long time before we get it... up to 10 weeks! I think that is pretty ridiculous, but we did it anyway. Our bed (not from Pottery Barn) and bar stools will be here in about a month, the chairs about 2 months and the couch about 2 and a half! I guess we'll be lounging on the floor for a while longer. This is what we bought:
