Grey's Anatomy

Seeing that Grey’s Anatomy is finally back, I figure it makes perfect since to continue the analysis of the grey anatomy of the guestroom! The quilt, pillow shams and carpet have been purchased! Now the headboard project… I originally pictured an upholstered headboard similar to that in the master. After seeing this picture though, my mind has been changed…

I love the room-divider screen against the wall headboard!! That is the next project. We just recently purchased a dremel to finish work on our dining bench and I can’t wait to use it for this project.

Our panels will not go as far up the wall. I think in such a small room having such a large piece will only make the room look smaller. They will probably be about 5 feet tall (we have about 8 foot tall ceilings). Some thin particleboard attached to the wall after being padded and upholstered will create a nice soft look in the recession where the bed is.

I planned on including a picture here, but I currently cannot find my camera charger! I will add it when I find it.

So, I need to figure out what shape to create in the top of the upholstered boards...

Just copy what is in the picture?
Maybe more of a Moroccan twist?
Do I dare try to carve matching curves? Or stick to straight lines? This will be fun!

  1. Love it! Did you go with the pillow and comforter set-up that you had referenced last week?
